Aurora felt a little refreshed after talking to Thomas. Her music was plugged back into both ears as she headed to her lecture; forgetting about her earlier paranoia about being watched. With her hands in her pockets, she thought about the odd electric shock. That had taken her by surprise. It was as though her body was trying to expel or fight against something. She would have to keep her eyes open for Thomas in the future. He seemed nice, but Aurora had to remind herself not to take everyone at face value, even if she wanted to.

Aurora exited her lecture with Katie glued to her side. They walked down the street together. Katie vented about the latest thing John had done to frustrate her and Aurora nodded her head as though she cared. Hearing about petty couple squabbles had become so insignificant to Aurora now. She already lacked an interest in trivial matters but feigned it for the sake of her friends. However, now she struggled to do so convincingly. There were bigger issues in the world than whether John checked out another woman’s assets or not, and Aurora let that show on her face.
“Are you on his side or something?” Katie scowled.
“No, no!” Aurora shook her head. “Of course not. He’s being disrespectful.”
“Hmm. You just don’t seem like you care.” Katie looked away, the frown still sat on her features.
“I do.” Aurora reassured. “I’m just a little distracted.”
“Yeah, with your own love life I bet.” Katie hissed slightly.
Aurora subtly rolled her eyes. “I heard my Dad got offered a position at St Bartholomew’s hospital. I guess I’m just thinking about that.”
Katie perked up a little. “Oh, is he going to take it?”
“I don’t know. I hope not.” Aurora laughed.
Katie switched back to discussing her problems and Aurora tried to focus on her a little more as they headed to the Accomodation Block.

Chris was now walking down the street after seeing Raymond. Her collar was still up and her hat was still tilted forward. Her phone kept buzzing as she saw that Aurora and Margarita were having a chat in a group message.
"Why the fuck were they doing that!? If they're gonna start waffling on about random stuff then they should do it privately not in a group message! No, no, let it go Chris! They're trying to be nice, they're just concerned as they've not seen you for a while, again. Probably would start believing you to be dead so just be nice for Christ sake!" she scolded herself.
Chris rubbed her forehead. She was stressed and feeling a little tired. There was still a lot plaguing her mind at the moment. She had formulated a plan as to what she was going to do with her powers but she had no idea if it'd work. On top of that, there was the whole Olem issue and now Herbert's party thing. She'd have to face the others again at some point. Perhaps it would be best to make an appearance at the party but she didn't feel like a shopping trip with other people, or did she? Chris fidgeted around with her phone before pocketing it and heading off into London city centre.
