Herbert got waffles and tea, and walked over to Margarita. "Okay, let's start this again. I'm going to trust you," he smiled. "But here goes," he lowered his voice.
"My name is Herbert John Flynn. The John comes from John Jarrod, AKA, Captain Omega because of my parents. My parents are Gilbert and April Flynn. Known as Voltage and Quickstep. My dad can generate and manipulate electricity and my mum has precognitive dreaming, supersonic speed bursts and bullet time reflexes. I can tell you that because they work as the leaders of Olympus' PR company, working to keep Normals and Supers together happily. They volunteered all their information for public consumption to help bridge the gap. It led to problems but we managed.
I came to Uni to study classics, because I love Greek art and architecture. I have one ability; empathy but apparently this is powerful enough to let me mimic abilities. I don't know anything else about it."
He leaned back. "That's the starting information you should know about me," he smiled. "Any questions? Tell me about yourself."

Margarita raised her eyebrows. That was impressive "Mimicing abilities? That is one hell of a power there! You can do whatever you want. Ane feeling people's emotions? And the son of Olympus heroes? No wonder you have a bit of hero complex" She laughed. "Wow, I don't know what to tell you. Your parents are supers with amazing abilities. Mine are just ordinary people. Dad is history teacher and mum is a doctor. She introduced me to the world of biology. That is why I decided to study Biology and Chemistry. My father is Bulgarian and mum is Greek but her parents moved to Bulgaria when she was 3. I speak fluent Bulgarian obviously but Greek not so much unfortunately. I studied in normal High School, decided that I don't want to live in Bulgaria anymore and studied hard enough to make it to an English university. My hobbies include reading, dancing and collecting minerals and gemstones. My favourite style of music is heavy metal and I love horror movies. That's pretty much it about me. Just an ordinary girl. Oh yes, and I can create fire with my mind but you already know that." Margarita paused for a bit "What exactly does your empathy include? Can you read people's emotions and find out how they are feeling? Something like that?"

Herbert nodded, smiling. "Thanks, I know, it's really, really awesome." He grinned at her. "That's nice of you to say. In mean, the only problem is, you know, I'm taking other people's abilities and it's really hard to use. I have no idea when I'll be throwing powers out at will. But it's helpful being a jack nof all trades, you know, when you're needed. I do feel people's emotions but I'be gotten better at tuning it out. It's more like feelings and 'colours' of emotions I get. It's like learning another language."
Herbert listened closely and once she had finished, he shook his head. "Your parents are heroes too; they help the society as much as mine do. Mine can just throw lightning," he laughed. He was blown back by all the information. "Must be cool to be able to speak another language. And Greek; that's cool because you know, I'm studying them. The ancient ones."
He let himself aborb the information and considered her question. "Yeah, exactly like that. Hard to use right now, because it's, like I said, kinda like learning a language. But it's certainly helpful."

Herbert got a little nervous as she asked that. But he kinda wanted to impress her so he focused on her emotions and tried to read. They were a jumble of them, but he sure he felt something... playful? A little nervous there. And worry for some strange reason.
"Erm, playful," he said. "But also nervous and kinda worried. Why's that? Am I intimidating you?" He joked.

Margarita laughed "Me? Intimidated? Do I look like the type? I guess it's because of the assignments coming soon." She knew exactly why she was worried-she didn't want Herbert finding out about the Redeemer. Margarita shook off the unpleasant thought. Her smile returned again "It's not fair that you can read my emotions you know. Now you have to tell me about yours "

Herbert laughed. "You can manipulate fire! Next to that, reading emotions is pretty tame." He raised his eyebrows his eyes twinkling. "Okay, I'm feeling a bit nervous too, but happy and relaxed. I have a few things to worry about but they're looking quite far away at this moment."

Margarita frowned slightly "I see. I didn't mean to pry, sorry" She sipped from her coffee and put a smile on again "I met a new person yesterday. I really hope I get to know her better. She is a 3rd biology student and is interested in the superhuman genes. I found this fascinating".

"Unfortunately we couldn't speak much. All I know is she has always been interested in the supergene and whether it affected or has developed in humans as well. And I think she is doing her research now on superhumans and their powers and what mutations they show. It was something of those lines. I asked her to meet me some time so I guess you can tag along and talk to her more about it. I am sure she would love to explain it all"

Herbert nodded. "Yeah, that's very interesting. I might go and find her myself at some point. How soon do you reckon we can see her? Just, I'm having trouble understanding my abilities. I'd love to actually know more about them."
