Aurora was about to spoon feed Herbert but stopped in thought. "I... don't know. You're very interesting, I can't work out how you tick but I really want to find out. I can't find out if something happened to you." Aurora subconciously ate the bit of cheesecake she had picked for Herbert.

Herbert frowned. "You just ate my cake," he said. He took back his Olymous card. "You know, I thought bringing this out would get you guys to talk about it but you never do," he frowned. "I don't know what I'm going to do. Can we train soon?"

"Not all of us are so ready and eager to sign ourselves over to Olympus. I know your parents being members must make you want to join but the rest of us don't have the same connections. Besides, after the past week, I'm not so sure Olympus is capable of even doing its job anymore," Chris addressed Herbert.

"Olympus is for those who are considering becoming a hero. So I never know what to say about it since that doesn't apply to me." Aurora took a sip of her coffee and then looked down at the plate where the cake had been. "Oh! S-sorry..." Aurora couldn't help but blush slightly. "If you guys head down to The Green, I'll pop into the shop and get some fuel for the session."
Aurora then looked at Signe. "N-no, don't change. I meant that some people experience a tragic event in their life and they lose a piece of who they were because of it. I'm not saying I wouldn't like you if something like that happened, but I am saying that I want to try and protect you from such hurt and damage." Aurora sighed. "The bottom line is, Signe, I want to get to know you, find out the kind of person you are and because I'm interested in you, the you you're so sure society wouldn't except, I want to protect you." Aurora was feeling a little tired of all the explaining, but she didn't let it show.

Herbert made a dark face. "Wait, you think I want to join Olympus? It's not as simple as that," he insisted. "Yeah, I have my parents and everything but that's not the point. I was curious about what you guys were doing because it might help me to decide. I'm not just going to jump to Olympus. That said, I think with all the crap we've been through they've done their best. It's been a wild time but who could have predicted Blink showing up at the club. I think we were licky Canagold was there; he's the only reason we're not dead. You think we'd have been able to do half as much damage to them of he wasn't there distracting them?" He calmed down, sighing. "Sorry, that was aggressive. I just- I don't know what to do and everyone seems to have it in for Olympus."

Chris looked down at the ground, almost ashamed for upsetting Herbert.
"Sorry Herb. Didn't realise you were in two minds about it. Thought for you it would be a forgone conclusion. I don't have it in for Olympus, I just prefer to fly solo is all and I'm not one for taking orders and being restricted by regulations and stuff," Chris spoke in a soft tone rather than get aggressive as she usually would have done if it was anyone other than Herbert.

“I honestly have nothing against Olympus. I think if you're someone who has recently discovered their powers and want to hone them, Olympus will have the best facilities and research to help you perfect your abilities. I've always thought they do the best they can with the most minimal damage possible. I don't have a reason to hate Olympus but I've never seen them in action until recently. Nothing ever happened in Solihull and I was never at the right place at the right time in Birmingham to see it go down. Saying that, Olympus has a bit of a soft spot in my heart.” By the last bit, what Aurora really meant is that there was a soft spot in her heart for Captain Omega. RIP.
“Right, should we head to the shop, Chris? I think the cake spoilt my appetite for the bagel.” She smiled at Signe. "I'll throw some questions at you later when we're not in a group."

Olem watched the exchange from over the top of his coffee, deciding against adding any input instead just watching everyone else's reactions. He was against Olympus, he was annoyed by Herbert's pandering to them as well, but he didn't let it show. The training on the other hand. He couldn't train like he had earlier with The Redeemer, none of them would understand that's how he needed to train.
