Olem raised an eyebrow as The Redeemer knocked down a tree next to him. "I understand. Olympus is weak, trying to hard to appease everyone but satiating no-one. People suppress their true nature, too scared that they will be judged for being different" Olem growled "I fully know the price of Olympus' ignorance."

'Yes! Yes, Olem,' the Redeemer exclaimed. 'That is actually what I what I was hoping you would say. Though I would add that they actually don't help anyone. At least, not really,' he said quietly.
'So where has this hate for Olympus come from?' he asked curiously. 'And what price?'

"When I was in the army, I was part of a group of Super Hunters" Olem said, reaching into his coat pocket "we were given jobs to hunt down the supers of foreign powers that Olympus couldn't be asked to deal with, which it turned out was most of them" his hand was gripping the book in his coat pocket "I lost of lot of men, friends to supers that Olympus should've dealt with, not mortal folk" he let go of the book, returning his hand to his side. Olem was starting to struggle to keep his anger submerged, the painful memories that were being brought forward were beginning to throw him off.

The Redeemer nodded. 'You hunted supers? Did you kill any?' His voice tightened at this, but he was undeniably curious and interested.
'That's the thing, as you clearly know,' he said, gesturing to Olem. 'Olympus is a lie. Like a propaganda campaign. Good for the gullible, that's all. A lie,' he muttered again, to himself.
'Whilst we talk, I wanted to test you again. I don't know how well you can fight, but I want to learn what you can do. I also want you to refine your control. How is that going by the way?'

"I did, I can't remember the total super kill count, but it was over 10" he said, mildly wary of the potential consequences of his previous job.
"I'm basically the way I was before the accident. I just have to keep a very tight control over my emotions, or I start to 'leak' noxious effects." he looked down at his hands, and took off his gloves, the scars from the previous night still standing out boldly against his skin. "What do you want me to do?"

'I can't say I like killing heroes. It's not right, for what I want to do. But like anyone, some deaths are necessary. And there will be more before this is over. But you know that, Olem. You know that this will, unfortunately, end in blood.' He signed.
He stood straighter, and became harder again. The weakness was gone. 'Well, that's to be expected. I want you to make one leaf, from as many trees as you can, sick. Kill one leaf apiece. And do it whilst fighting me.' It looked as if the Redeemer was actually grinning right now. 'Are you ready?'

"I'm no stranger to blood" Olem said, deadpan. He paused as he thought about The Redeemers task. "You want me to snipe leaves whilst fighting you?" Olem dropped into his fighting stance "alright, bring it on"

'Good. I chose well it seems.'
He stood up straight, defiant, but poised. 'I want to see you snipe those trees. That's the point; we know that what's coming will be... intense.'
'And go!' He moved towards Olem with practiced footwork. His stance changed suddenly; versatile and well guarded. He struck at Olem's face with precision, but slightly slowed, ever so slightly. He wasn't going to use his full strength, for obvious reasons. Time moved as quickly as ever.

Olem growled slightly, using one arm to attempt to deflect The Redeemers fist whilst he pointed his hand towards the trees, watching out of the corner of his eye as rotten vegetation started to drip from the trees. He caught The Redeemers fist, and moved it slightly, pushing it away from his face, and he followed up with a quick jab towards his chest.

The Redeemer pushed it aside and followed with a quick kick. He was watching the leaves as well. He moved his deflected fist back to the side of Olem's head even as he kicked.

Olem rolled back slightly, avoiding the two blows towards him and he stood back up quickly, using both hands to melt away the leaves in the trees.

'Good! Remember, not all of the leaves,' the Redeemer said, looking up at them. He stepped back. (OOC; How are the leaves coming along? )

(OOC: About 60-ish) Olem stopped, feeling his power ebb away from his hands, as he made his way back towards The Redeemer "I'll leave a few" he smirked, watching a few of them fall out of the tree near them.

'As you wish. We'll need to show restraint, if my plan is to work,' he cautioned. 'Shock value, and then mercy. But I need you to master your powers, Olem, which you are very much on the way to doing. What else do you think you can do with your powers?' he asked, staring at the leaves.

"I seem to be able to read up on symptoms of diseases, and use said symptoms on people. When I was fighting Ruin, I used a passage I had written in my book and managed to afflict him with Necrotizing fasciitis" he paused, thinking about what he'd done since he last saw him "but apart from that, I don't seem to have got any further in knowing how my power works".
"In regards to shock and mercy, sudden symptoms, no matter their lethality, caused by a wave of a hand will strike fear into most people" he said, smiling slightly "and fear causes most people to be in awe, thus creating the shock. And as the symptom, like vomiting or coughing or even a rash is not going to kill anyone, that would be the mercy you asked for".
