"You can never be too careful" he said, reaching into his pocket and scowled "I need to get more smokes, so I'm going to go and hunt for a shop, if anyone wants to come - It'd make for a 'change of scene' as Herbert put it" he paused for a second "Maybe the bar sells some"

"Well I'm up for it, then I think I should sleep. After all, I missed the bar last night. Maybe we'll see Aurora there?"

"Yes!" Lucio cried. He was feeling much, much happier now, and was his usual extravagant self, " TO THE BAR!" He pointed dramatically skyward, before pausing; "Uh... Which way is the bar?"

"None taken," Ed said, walking in the direction of the bar. "You think I can drink alcohol like this? I know grapes are bad for dogs but what about wine?"
Remembering that she was a university student should not have been such a shock to Ed. "Do you really think we'll have classes tomorrow," she asked a little suddenly. "Since the campus is... like it is?" She had the sudden thought of sitting in a lecture theatre, towering abover everyone else by a head and shedding all over the seats. "Maybe I should just become a superhero," she muttered to herself. "If you guys want to think of a super name, I'd get on that sooner rather than later. The rags like naming people but they're terrible at it."

OOC: Alone or not, Herbert has gone to the bar.

'Campus shop's just over there,' said Alex, pointing out the building at the end of the street to Olem. 'And the bar, Bella, would be this big building right here,' he said, gesturing to the wall that took up most of one side of the street. 'Not sure about lectures, but I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I've only got a welcome talk or something this week, then my course starts properly after freshers week. Also, nobody needs super names! We were all really lucky today and the last thing any of you need to start doing is running around in spandex playing lawmaker.'
Alex had very little intention of following his own advice. But this lot? They were a nice bunch, but they seemed too nice to survive in that world. 'Come on,' said Alex, keeping on a smile as he walked to the bar. Glancing back down at his phone, he sent the text to Aurora.

Chris had merely stood there, soaking the scene in and allowing herself more time to recover from Olem's explosion.
The bar? For a northerner that was an easy question to answer. For the sake of her reputation and that of the whole northern peoples she followed the others to the bar.

Olem emerged into the street, cigarette smoking slightly at it hung limply from his mouth. He had dug his hands deep into his pockets, as he walked past the crowds of people who had gathered after yesterdays violence. He stopped and looked towards the spot where he had released a burst of his energy, and where the dead drones used to be. He noticed a few people glaring at him, muttering under their breath. He decided to move on, away from the crowds, to find something to eat. He stopped at a little stall selling various food items and beverages, and decided upon getting a bacon sandwich and a black coffee. With breakfast in hand, his made his way towards a bench and sat down. He took a bite out of the sandwich, and chewed slowly, wandering what he'd do today.

Olem got up, his sandwich finished and coffee consumed. He binned the packaging, and went through his pockets, and realised he had forgotten something important in his room, so made his way back to the accommodation block.

{On way back from bar} Aurora felt a harsh cold on her skin. She groggily opened her eyes, but things were still blurry. She couldn't really make out what was going on, just that she was moving. She was being carried? Aurora turned her head to whoever was carrying her. The blur kind of looked like Olem. But she thought she could hear Eds voice. She nuzzled her face against his chest and tried to steal as much warmth off of him as she could. “Helping me out again? Heh, it's not powers that make a hero.” She mumbled before falling asleep again.

Olem approached the street, jogging at his usual pace, fairly happy that no-one else was around. The cold was biting against the bare skin on his arms, and it felt nice. He picked up the pace and started to run around the campus for about thirty minutes, until he was starting to feel tired, and decided to head back, to clean up and collapse in his bed.

Olem walked into the street, and made his way towards the closest coffee stand, and asked for a black coffee and a croissant. Taking the two items, he decided to sit on a bench, and began to consume the two items whilst watching people walk past.

(OOC: Time is slowed so no one can interact with us. ) Suddenly time slowed to a crawl around Olem. It was so slow nothing seemed to be moving, except for Olem, who could move normally within a little bubble of space. 'Hello Olem.' Olem stood suddenly, dropping his food as he did so, but they slowed and the man in the black armour picked them from the air and returned them to Olem's hands. 'I've been watching you Olem,' he said pleasantly, sitting down next to Olem. 'I see how you keep coming here alone, and I see the ways that the others disregard you, the way they belittle your powers and treat you like an outsider. I know that your powers make it difficult for you.' He paused, his suit humming, considering something before he suddenly exploded with passion. 'Outsiders are the special ones Olem! You're more powerful than any of them! Well,' he paused; 'except maybe one... but I can teach you things so you can best even him. You know you could do great things with your powers. How did Moses free the Israelites? With plagues!' 'Your powers are not bad. Not a curse. They're a gift to do great things,' he explained, his voice strong and passionate. It sounded deep, obscured by his helmet. 'Together we can learn more about it. Teach you to control them and maybe even heal illness? I only know that you are capable of more than you can possibly imagine; you just need a chance right? And if nothing else,' he shrugged; 'I can teach you to fight well enough that you won't even need your powers' he said knowingly. 'In return I ask nothing. At all. No hidden deal, no bargain, simply acceptance. Two outsiders, together. What do you say Olem?'

Chris jogged down the street at quite a brisk pace. She entered a shop and began to stock up on food and energy drinks. It hadn't gone unnoticed that whenever she used her powers she was felt feeling completely drained of all stamina and energy. Once she had paid for items, she continued with her morning run, bag in hand, heading towards the woods.

Olem sat back down again, turning his head to regard the stranger; he was covered from head to toe in power armour, and he'd just slowed down time around him. Olem thought about the what the figure had said, 'truthful things' an inner voice within his head said. He looked down at his gloved hands, and the thought of not having to cover them up again, of controlling his powers? That was an offer to good to give up. He put out a gloved hand to the stranger "I accept your deal".
