(OOC: Completely ignore this scene. This did not, and has not and will not ever happen in canon.)
Gilbert got bored, ripped his shirt off and started doing cartwheels screaming 'MITTENS' and 'BUTTER!'
"Tell them I don't hit you!" He cried, before hitting April with a cartwheel.
Herbert looked right at you, Tim, and said: "Save us Obi-Tim Kenobi. You're our only hope."
(OOC: Mittens, ignore this and reply to the above instead. This post shall be deleted by the morning.)

(OOC You keep that post up there. I want it to be a memory of the time I broke you without doing anything. You're MY bitch now! ) Champion was still staring right at Herbert. It was impossible to tell whether she believed him entirely or not, but eventually she relaxed. "Well, we're not going to jail you for not having powers any more. However, we do need you to fill out a few forms, just so we know exactly what you had, in case it comes back. That way we don't have to go through hours of paperwork to get you onto the system to register. It'll be quick and easy." she straightend up. "Anyway, that's it. You're free to go now, Herbert. We'll pass this inteview onto the Met, of course, for their murder enquiries, but chances are they'll just ask you some more questions." Her, Justice and Whyzz stood up and filed out of the room. Champion, as the last one, turned back just before leaving. "And Herbert: I'm sorry about your friends." for the first time, her eyes showed emotion. She closed the door gently behind her, leaving Herbert and his parents alone.

(OOC: Yeah well Lysistrata wasn't funny and you can die in a hole!)
Herbert could feel the emotions off of Champion; confusion, a little bit of skepticism, but ultimately resignment. Herbert had a secret, she was sure. But she also knew his parents, she knew him to a lesser extent. It was Herbert. Well intentioned, perhaps a little over zealous, Herbert.
Once Herbert was alone, his parents turned on him. Gilbert looked up and concentrated. With a small spark the camera disabled, and began looping around itself.
"We don't have much time," he said quickly. "Herbert, is that all there is to your powers?"
Herbert had to hide them; for now. "Yes," he said firmly. "Don't think I'm bitter about it?"
April hugged him. "Oh Herb, it's okay. We both know how much you wanted this."
"And the Redeemer?" He dad asked quickly, glancing at the camera.
"He was there," Herbert nodded. Gilbert looked scared, almost. "He's not well known around here... buried in Omega's past. There are a few of us though, that know. The old timers. We'l have to spread the word, quietly. Probably talk to Champion...," he trailed off, before pointing and up and the camera sparked itself back to life.
They put on happy faces. "So Herb," his mother started. "You should probably get going now. I can only imagine a few people are waiting for you. We'll just get you the paperwork to fill in. Oh, also honey, you remember the party?"
Herbert frowned. "What?"
April rolled her eyes. "Oh Herbert, you;d forget your shoes if they weren't on your feet. The Olympus/Civilian PR party. You know your father and I host it each year. You'll be expected to attend, black tie. We got a really amazing location this time," he smiled at him. "Feel free to invite your friends. The more the merrier."
Gilbert smiled and nodded, standing. "Okay, Herb, we'll talk to you at the party. You go the date?"
The memories started to come back to Herb. "Yeah, I've got the date."
April smiled at him, her mind on Lucio. She needed to head down to the morgue after this immediately. "Everything will be fine," she told him. Herbert felt a jolt, as if she'd lied. Didn't she believe that? He frowned as they walked out, leaving him alone, and free, finally.
(OOC: Herbert fills in the paperwork regarding his old speed, and walks out of Olympus. His mother, however, is waiting in the morgue for Lucio's rebirth.)

Chris saw Herbert leave the building but did not approach him immediately. Instead she crossed over and began to tail him, making sure to keep a safe distance.

Team Training
(OOC: Feel free to write about your arrival before this sequence - this is just to get the ball rolling and set the scene)
Sub-level 4. Champion stood, resplendent in the black, blue and gold of her costume. Her sharp eyes sized up the new recruits from CCU who were stood before her, young messes of adrenaline, uncertain of what they were about to face. Behind Champion was a concrete wall with a broad steel door set into its surface.
'Good afternoon,' she said. 'As I am sure you are all aware, I am Champion, leader of Olympus. And you are our newest members. The first of a new generation of heroes, growing, adapting, learning how to better serve and protect the world around us. It is our duty to protect this nation, to save it from those who would bring chaos and destruction. Today, we are training you the way I have always found most effective - throwing you in at the deep end, forcing you to think on your feet and act under pressure.'
She stepped aside. The steel door behind her slid slowly upwards, revealing a long concrete passage beyond it.
'Welcome to the maze,' said Champion. 'Beyond that door, a vast concrete maze with one big red button at the far end. Your task is simply to reach that button - together - and hit it. The maze is designed to stop you achieving that objective. Inside you will find a series of booby traps, including laser-guarded passages, remote tranquiliser dart guns, shifting passageways, trap doors, and - most importantly - a squadron of Olympus Guardian Drones, programmed to treat you as hostiles. I believe most of you have had experience in combat against the Drones. These ones have obviously been programmed to only use non-lethal measures, but they are set to stun. Try not to end up unconscious.'
Champion gestured to the waiting maze.
'You have one hour to beat the maze. Good luck.'

Quickstep:
April observed the new Olympians below in the hall, frowning. They were just standing there... turning on her heel she saw Gilbert staring down at them too.
"Eager to get going, aren't they?" He murmured. "What can they do again?"
April shrugged. "I doubt we'll see, if they keep this up. Hey, Gilbert, I was going to check on Lucio."
"The regenerator?" He smirked at her. "Yeah, I want to see him come back too. I hear he has purple eyes," he turned back to the students. "I even rigged a few traps myself. Shame they won't be used."
"Poor you," April said mockingly. "Come on, Sparky." She started walking as Gilbert moved to catch up.
"You think Herb lied to us about having powers?" He asked.
"Oh yeah," she said. "I had a dream, about him flying actually." Gilbert raised his eyebrows. "You think that has something to do with my brother? He's coming back you know?"
April shrugged. "I see what I see, nothing more. But there's more to Herbert than we thought. Guess we'll wait for him to admit it." They continued down to the morgue, where Lucio was lying next to Signe.
"Poor girl," Gilbert said softly. "Shapeshifter?"
April nodded. "Sad she couldn't find a skin she was comfortable in," she muttered as they stood there, waiting for Lucio to return. Some questions had to be asked...

Lucio's body began to glow with a soft golden light. The air in the morgue, normally cold and harsh with disinfectant, began to warm up. A gentle scent of flowers and wine slowly filled the air.

April gripped Gilbert's arm. "Look!" She pointed. Gilbert stepped in front of her, electricity sparking across his body.
April gave him a face. "Honey, what are you doing? You going to kill him again?"
Gilbert looked confused. "Erm, I was protecting you...?"
She waved a hand. "Oh come on, we both know with my superior reflexes I'd see anything coming and save you, just like Borneo."
"Don't bring that up again," he said. "I told you I was groggy that day, you said you'd forget that-"
April sniffed the air. "Do you smell flowers?"
Gilbert followed his nose to Lucio's body. "So he smells of flowers when he revive... that a bit ga-" April cut him off, watching Lucio's body with interest.

"Oh shit!" Gilbert said, turing to April. They looked at each other and said at the same time:
"THE REPORT!" They covered each other's faces and waited for the glow to leave their eyes. They both read whoever saw him revive was supposed to go go 'doo-lah' as the official report stated. They didn't have time for that.

Lucio's dead eyes slammed open, a deep purple in colour. The glowing increased, before exploding into light, completely removing his body from view. The glow faded rapidly, leaving a slightly confused Lucio propping himself up by his elbows, looking around and trying to focus. His eyes were still purple, but the colour was slowly turning to his natural green.
"<Wha- were am I? Hello?>" He shouted in Tellasite, scared and somewhat confused.

Ed walked over to the long concrete corridor although she didn't step foot through the doors. A couple of days in Olympus' crazy house they called their headquarters had taught her to be suspicious of anything that looked too innocuous. That didn't mean she hadn't had a hell of a time running around getting into trouble.
She struggled not to let her eyes roll out of her head as the Champion talked about duty, chaos and destruction, all that good stuff. No wonder the Redeemer hated Olympus, they were clearly getting their speeches from the same place. The Redeemer had seemed very far away the last few days; Ed was far too busy with actual crimes to be looking out for things she could spy and relay back to him. Of course, she was still a new kid and they wouldn't let her near the actual case files. But if Ed sat still enough, filled out a questionnaire, maybe did a few tests, and begged very very loudly, they did tell her some of the juicier bits of gossip. Like that shoot-up at that nightclub, Snuff? They were even starting to ask her what she thought. Honestly, Olympus was actually kinda cool.
She sniffed the corridor. Dust, concrete, metal. "Who wants to go find the Goblet of Fire, then?"

April was the first to peek from under Gilbert's hand. "Honey... Lucio is back from the dead..."
Gilbert looked over April's head, starting to smile despite himself. He made his way over to the scared kid, kneeling next to the slab. "Congrats Lucio. Welcome to the world of the living. We have some questions to ask you."
"But first," April interrupted, locking her grey eyes onto Lucio, identical t her sons, "let's have some hot chocolate, get you warmed up and back to the wolrd of the living. We read in your file that you like hot chocolate, right?"

Lucio's vision was blurry. He couldn't make out details, but there were two people near him talking. He couldn't understand a word of what they were saying, at least, until the last few words;
"-our file that you like hot chocolate, right?" He could remember English again! His vision swam into focus as, unbeknownst to him, his eyes finally reached their natural colour. He vaguely recognised the two costumed supers standing near him. He nodded in response to the question, still not quite certain if he could speak English yet. Understanding it was one thing, speaking it was another.

Gilbert raised his eyebrows. "He's up!" He grabbed Lucio's shirt and threw it to him. "Heads up!" Unfortunatly, Gilbert had bene near April. And when he got near April, he got sparky because you know, men. So the static on Lucio's shirt combined with Gilbert's power and the shirt became an electrical death trap. It flew onto Lucio's face and sparked through his brain, killing Lucio instantly.
"Whoops," Gilbert said as Lucio dropped dead. Again.
April raised and eyebrow and started hitting Gilbert. "How. Many. Times. Have. I. Told. You. Don't. Touch. Shirts. Once. You've. Touched. Me! You just killed Lucio, honey!"
Gilbert took the punches to the arm in silence.

Yet again, Lucio awoke in the grove. He clambered upright to see the Goddess and Babou standing by the stream. "Hello there." he said, jogging up to them. They both jumped. "What the- I just sent you back? What the heck, Warrior? What killed you this time?" She asked, dumbfounded. "Some dude with a beard gave me a massive electric shock-" Before Lucio could even finish explaining, the Goddess glared angrily up at the sky; "DAD!" She shouted. There was a deep rumble of thunder, and a voice could be heard from the sky; "Εγώ δεν το κάνουμε αυτό." Lucio didn't understand what the voice said, but he wasn't going to ask. "Can you send me back again? Sorry, I think I'm a bit tired of talking about the afterlife. Give me a few days of suffering in the real world first." He joked as he reached the stream. The Goddess laughed and pulled the laurel wreath from out of her hair. She was about to hand it to Lucio, when something flashed within her eyes. A wicked grin cut across her face as she kicked Lucio hard on the butt, sending him face-first into the stream. As he pushed himself out of the water, she threw the wreath at him, catching him in the back of the head. He dissapeared, still hearing her laughter ringing out into the darkness. The Goddess grinned to herself: being an immortal divine being was great and all, but it was the little things she lived for.
Lucio's slightly-smoky body began to glow again. This time, the glow was nowhere near as bright, but it was steadily growing.
