The university's main and biggest lecture theatre. As well as your course lectures, here you may find talks being given by student organisations and visitors to the university.

The talk was being filmed and livestreamed to the university's website. Whyzz was fine with that. She was fine in front of cameras. She still, after all this time, got a little nervous in front of crowds of people. Particularly when she was talking on behalf of an organisation like Olympus. There was a lot riding on this and she still felt like she had only just stepped into this world. She took a deep breath and began to speak, her words tinted with her soft Welsh accent.
'A week ago, the late John Jarrod, Captain Omega, came to this campus and told you we live in frightening times. And he was right. We do. And I know, for many of you, things have been getting a lot more frightening over the course of this week and I'm sorry. I'm sorry that, at a time of your lives that is already difficult, already wrought with changes and transitions, you have all had to go through hell and some of you have had to come to terms with powers that, not so long ago, you never would have dreamed of experiencing. I'm here today because I know what that's like.
'You probably all know me as Whyzz, the Pink Shadow of Canary Wharf, but my real name is Laura Gryffiths. I first realised my superpowers when I was very young and two years ago, when I was eighteen, I joined Olympus. Today I am the youngest member of Olympus's alpha squadron, their leading superhuman response team. I'm telling you all this because, when I first discovered my powers and when I was becoming a young adult, Olympus terrified me. I was worried about all sorts of things. Would my powers mean Olympus spying on me? Would my powers turn me into their enemy? Were they going to throw me in a cell for who I was?
'The answer, it turned out, to all of those questions was of course not. I joined Olympus when I was looking into my options after completing my A-Levels. I was considering apprenticeships and... Olympus had an open day. An open invitation to young people with superpowers who wanted to make the world a better place. And I wanted to see a safer world. Plus, I was broke and wouldn't say no to a job. So I went along and we got a taste for what Olympus do. And the one thing that stood out for me was what a force of positivity they are.
'Olympus have to deal with some very dark days. They have to face the worst of people and the most terrible of catastrophes. But they do so with the brightest view of the world and of humanity. They showed me all the good I was capable of, the lives I could change, the people I could save. Olympus ultimately believes in the potential of every single person to be a force for good and their only concern is protecting us. They are helping us all save the world from the horrors we have to endure. Because none of us should have to endure them alone and none of us should have to suffer when something can be done about it. That is the world Olympus believes in and that is the better world that I hope to help bring about by working with them.
'There are all sorts of jobs going at Olympus currently. We have an ongoing recruitment drive for our infantry troops, as well as openings for technicians, analysts and various other office roles. But I am here today because, for the first time on a university campus, we are opening an Olympus hero recruitment centre right here at Capital City University. And so, to any students with powers, I say come forward. Show us what you can do and we will show you what we can do for you. We will show you just how much you can do for the world. Olympus saves lives every single day. There are people alive in the world right now, who wouldn't be here had it not been for Olympus. I honestly believe that to have the power to do something extraordinary and then not to take that chance is such a waste of incredible potential. We all have a duty to make this world a little safer for one another. Join Olympus and help shape a safer world. Thank you.'
There was a round of applause as Whyzz took a bow and then retreated to the corner of the stage as the Dean came out to say a few words. She was desperately hoping these students would listen to her. Olympus had saved her life and she had seen the difference they made to the world. There had been mistakes recently, mistakes right here on this campus, but they had to emerge better and stronger. Had it not been for Captain Omega, the Vertex Centre explosion could have been far worse. Had it not been for Champion, the Drone malfunction could have become far more out of hand. Had it not been for her and Canagold, Ruin's battle with the Green Blink could have done a lot more damage and left many more casualties. While a perfect solution might have been an impossible dream, she knew Olympus was the world's best hope.

And as Herbert stood outside, still about to make his way to London, and to his parents, he thought about it. They could help him control his powers... but then again, so could Nathan. Maybe he would join them in the future but for now he needed more time to think. He needed to still be free. He wanted to help people, but not as an obligation. Not yet. Frowning, he left from outside the door and made his way off campus and into London.

James sat through the talk and watched with interest. Olympus seemed a lot bigger up close, shinier, more imposing. But they could help

Taniel walked into the lecture building in a hurry, digging through his pockets to find his University card, and swiped it against the attendance scanner. He climbed the steps and sat at the back of the room, pulling out his notepad and a pen, ready for his lecture.

With lectures over, Taniel decided to head back to the accomodation block.

Lois was bored.
The lecture was somewhat childish in its knowledge base and she had already read up on this topic. She brushed her hair back and looked around her. Her foot gently slid out of her shoe. Lois never really liked her feet. They always seemed big and ungrateful to her. Size Eleven. She winced. It was so hard to get ladies shows in that size. Then get door gently touched the back of the student in front of her through the gap in his chair. Thank God for elevated lecture theatres.
One. The boy in front shook his head slightly... Two. He rubbed his eyes and forehead... Three. He stifled a yawn... Four. His friend next to him likes him sharply in the ribs and he sat up straighter whilst his eyes drooped... Five. His eyes closed... Six. His head bowed. Seven. He gasped and tried to raise a hand but it seemed like his body was shutting down too.. . Eight. He slumped noticablely in his chair and the lecturer noticed... Nine. He tried to respond to the lecturer's questions but his words slurred into incoherant jabber... Ten. Out like a light.
The lad fell from his chair and commotion started. Lois put her foot back in her show and joined the commotion for appearance's sake. All right. So it wasn't just her hands... interesting.

Lois leaned over the back of Michael's chair as Ant-man finished. "Sorry about this but can you wipe this on the inside of your cheek?" She asked, producing a swab. Michael looked at her wierdly. "Have you had too much Monster?" "Nah, it's just for genetic testing. You and I have identical genetics so I'm seeing if you're and mine ready differently." Michael shrugged. "Sure. Just remember to ask me out to dinner first," he grinned and swabbed his inner cheek. "We're brother and sister. Don't be gross," laughed Lois as she took the swab back and placed it into a sterile case. "Cheers Michael." "When do I get in on the big experiments?" Lois smiled. "I'll tell you if I get anything little bro."

Margarita entered the lecture theatre, 10 minutes after the lecture has started. She moved quietly and took a sit at the back. She was usually active during her lectures and engaging in discussions but this time her mind was somewhere else.

Taniel made his way into the lecture hall, and took his usual spot in the back corner. He attempted to pass on his good feelings to a girl next to him by smiling at them in greeting, but they returned his niceness with a scowl, disgust in her eyes. Well, guess one thing had to go wrong.

The geology lecture came to an end, and Taniel started to pack his things away. As he headed down the lecture theater, he received a couple of shoulder barges but he phased them out as he made his way out of the building and towards the accommodation block.
