The Rules

As more of a collaborative storytelling effort than a competitive game, we try not to be too heavy when it comes to rules. However, there are just a few guidelines we ask all players to adhere to. Consistently ignoring the rules may well see your posts, or even your account, deleted. Basically, please just play nice!
- All posts are to be written in prose, preferably in the third person when interacting with other characters. Good English is essential!
- No god-modding, i.e. no controlling others' characters. In combat situations, you may deal attacks to another player but it is up to them to declare any harm done (if you're looking for a competitive game, focused simply on beating other characters in combat, this is probably not the game for you - we're looking for character-driven drama). On no account may one player dictate another player's character's actions or kill off another player's character.
- Similarly, try not to be excessive in any impact you're having on the game's environment. Nobody gets to suddenly obliterate London or make any other vast changes to the world of the game without the consent of the Admin.
- While explicit content isn't totally banned, this is an RPG based on superheroes, not on Fifty Shades of Grey. Try to keep it toned down and if a moderator says you're going too far, please listen to them. They know what they're talking about.
- Obviously, no bullying. Just don't do it. Don't belittle other players or do anything they say they're not comfortable with. Treat one another with respect and nobody gets upset or banned.
- Try to stay in character as much as possible in the roleplay forum. Other than perhaps an occasional line/quick question, try not to break character in the roleplay threads. Again, moderators get the last say in what is excessive.
Otherwise, just try to have fun, stay creative and enjoy your stay on campus!
