Taniel watched the fighting from afar, he had landed on a roof and was sitting on it, his legs dangling off of the ledge. He felt bad that he had endagered the lives of normal people with his spell but he just wanted to disperse them. In hindsight he could've probably used a smoke or dust spell and it would've achieved the same effect, but he felt water would make people move quicker. He saw Margarita was fighting an Olympian who had ice powers, but decided against helping her for now as she seemed fine

Herbert coughed as the smoke subsided, and Tephra appeared before them. A cry caught his attention and he looked up at the sky to see Nathan falling.
"NO!" He took off with such velocity that a sonic boom would throw back everyone, Tephra, Olem and Aurora, down as he burst upwards to save Nathan.
He streaked towards him and caught him in the air
"I've got you," he panted, gliding down to the street and placing him down. He glared up Windman.
"You're mine."

The sonic boom knocked Tephra off of her feet and she quickly dispersed into smoke to prevent an awkward landing. Aurora was knocked back into the air rather harshly from the blast, the coat dropping from her shoulders.

Nathan jerked awake and shook his head, mildly surprised at where he found himself.
'Right, so that happened.' He looked around, coughing at the ash that was surrounding them. 'So who's still around? Where's Reaper?' he asked, getting to his feet. 'Or Preservation?'

Olem gritted his teeth and planted his feet firmly in the ground and caught Aurora as she got flung towards him. The force of the two impacts forced him backwards slightly but he stayed upright, and watched his coat fly off and catch on a statue. 'That's going to be annoying to get down' he grumbled to himself as he checked to see if Aurora was OK.

Aurora grimaced and turned around to Olem with a gentle smile. “I'm fine.” She got lost looking at him for a moment but then snapped herself back to reality. She pushed herself away from him as Tephra threw a molten ball of ash between the two of them. “But I'm still annoyed at you...” Aurora grumbled at Olem, glancing between him and the reformed Tephra, and dodged backwards away from another orb of flaming ashes.

Olem glared at Tephra and a rash started to appear on her arms, slowly spreading up to her shoulders.
"Can you please kindly fuck off, we're trying to have a conversation"

Herbert knelt next to him. "Okay I will tell you. Actually, it's too long, let me sum up. Preservation was beating me up but Aurora kicked her in the stomach and I managed to get close and finish her off. Redeemer took one of the Olympians. She's gone. You fought Windman and lost. I caught you. Now I'm going to kill him." Herbert stood up and focused his superhuman vision on the supervillian.

Tephra looked at her arms and could feel the itching, burning sensation spread along her skin. “What the-” She burst into a cloud of smoke and ash trying to shake away the symptoms.
Aurora turned back to Olem. “Do you even know where I've been?” She asked as she crossed her arms across her chest, looking pretty perturbed. She stepped closer to him as tendrils of fiery ash whipped where she had just stood.

"Can't say I have, I don't follow your every move" Olem replied, side stepping a red hot ball of ash

Aurora glared at Olem. “Or follow my texts it seems.” She stepped out of a bubble of smoke that was trying to kill her vision. “I sent a warning text to everyone, you know, letting them know of a threat who is pretty scary. The fact that I knew that he was a scary threat must have meant something happened to me, right? Did you text me to ask if I was okay? No, no you didn't. You know who DID text back? Herbert did. He did but you didn't.”
Tephra was manipulating the smoke, directing it towards both Aurora and Olem. Not wanting to be choked to death, Aurora turned her fierce glare at Tephra. “Wow, you are so rude!” Aurora dashed forward and did a spinning kick at Tephra who simply faded into the air and reformed behind her.
“We're in the middle of a fight and you pick now to have an argument with each other?!” Tehpra shouted as burning ash wrapped around her fist as she jabbed at Aurora's back.
Aurora took the punch to the back and a burn hole appeared in her top. With a sigh, Aurora switched on her ability and Tephra recoiled, feeling the stinging sensation on her own skin. Aurora turned back to Olem, expectantly.

"I've been a bit out of it recently, so I've not really paid much attention to anything at the moment" Olem replied morosely, and he stopped moving to stare at the floor. "Yes, I didn't see your text, meaning I couldn't reply to it, but that doesn't mean I don't like you" he turned suddenly and punched Tephra in the face, breaking her nose and making her scream. "From the fact that you are here, I'm guessing you are ok" he smiled her, and aimed another blow at Tephra but she turned into ash and danced away.

Thomas struggled with Hawkblade in their air. It came down to two factors: the super was too strong to actually damage, and Thomas kept turning intagible when he tried to smack his face. Eventually, Hawkblade changed tactics. He started crushing Thomas, determined to end him.
"Stay down," he said through gritted teeth. Thomas was getting so hungry for his power. He just wanted to knock him out and take it! He slowly shapeshifted, making himself thinner as the space constricted. He focused and turned into metal. Hawkblade stopped, then pushed harder, bending Thomas out of shape. Then it hit him! Parasite realised he could just absorb his power. As far as he knew, a shirt touch only gave him a few minutes access but it should be enough.
He gripped the supers arm and started draining. Purple vapour swirled in the air as he tried to get it all. He felt a weird block, like he was having trouble absorbing all the abilities. He could feel it pushing at his other powers. It felt like there wasn't enough space. He almost cried; that was an issue that needed fixing. He settled for the superhuman strength. He let go of Hawkblade's arm and drove a fist into his face. Usually the Super would have been able to easily dodge, but he wasn't expecting the strength.
It collided with the force of a truck. Hawkblade looked stunned and loosened his grip on Thomas. "What did you do?" He said blearily. "My power..." Parasite drove another fist into his stunned face. He was let go and started to tumble to the earth. No matter; he'd been expecting that. He focused on replicating Hawkblade's wings and he felt a sudden pull as they exploded out of his back, ripping his coat. How Signe had lost the potential of this ability, he would never know.
He spiraled out, relying on Signe's previous skill at flying he'd absorbed and drove back towards Hawkblade. The Super swung his sword but Thomas phased through it and tackled him in midair. They went spinning over each other trading blows and wrestling in the air.

Aurora cut her eyes and looked extremely unimpressed. “This isn't about whether you like me or not, it's about good etiquette.” She moved her head to the left to avoid a ball of ash. “But yes, I guess I'm 'fine' now.” She moved her head to the right to avoid another. “I was only in the hospital in a semi-coma fore a few days with a collapsed lung.” She straightened her head to the centre as two orbs whizzed over her shoulders. “Can you please knock that bitch out?!” She gestured to Tephra. “And I mean literally just knock her out, you know, not kill her.” Aurora scowled at the orange-eyed villain as she spoke to Olem.

"Fine" Olem grumbled, and waved his hand at Tephra, causing her lungs to fill with liquid until she passed out from lack of oxygen. "A collapsed lung? Who the fuck did that to you?" Anger started to leak into his voice.
