For those who are considering the vigilante lifestyle, this is the place to be for your supersuits - a small lab tucked away at the back of Sciences 1. Here you'll meet with Raymond Rome, a squat, slightly overweight, fiercely intelligent student who has made a small business for himself selling what he bills as 'customised superhuman protection suits' - costumes deigned to better withstand superhuman attacks, so civilians can protect themselves. It's barely a secret, however, that the real purpose behind his underground operation is equipping vigilante heroes with their costumes as part of his anti-Olympus, pro-vigilante agenda. Meet him in the lab, give him your measurements, design ideas and costume requirements and he'll be running over to the industrial fabricator in the Advanced Research Centre in no time.

'Are you kidding me with the hood?' said Raymond, between mouthfuls of pot noodle. He was in a seat near the back of the room, his feet resting on top of one of the desks and his eyes on the hooded newcomer who had just walked into the room.
'You know they have CCTV in here, right?'
'Yeah,' said Raymond, wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve and climbing out of his seat, 'and I am entirely capable of pulling a Speed-style stunt where I take a few seconds of lifeless footage, link it up to the camera and loop it so it looks like there's nothing but an empty room here when the CCTV guys look at it.'
'You're sure that works?'
'Positive.'
The guy scanned the room for the camera anyway and, when he spotted it, took his hood down, rolling his eyes. 'And that's what I would do if we were somewhere anyone gave a shit about checking CCTV footage,' said Raymond. 'In here, however, I find that tends to suffice.'
He pointed to the camera. It was facing the wall.
'Wow,' said the guy in the hoodie.
'Haven't had a complaint yet,' said Raymond. 'You got what I asked for?'
'Right here.' The guy passed him a folded up piece of paper. 'Measurements, design ideas, all that.'
'You got payment?'
The guy handed him three twenties.
'Considering what you're doing, the things these suits can withstand, assuming you're not cutting corners-'
'Hey!' said Raymond. 'I'm an artist. No corners cut, I swear.'
'How do you do it so cheap?'
'Don't ask, don't tell. Suffice to say I could do it for free if I wanted. Hence the lifetime free repairs, if anything ever manages to break the suit. I'm only charging for my time and because... guy's got to eat. But I do this, first and foremost, because I don't trust Olympus. Great big corporate superhero organisation with their hyper-planned PR strategies and fancy bases. More like oppressors, hiding something, if you ask me. Just doing what I can to help people save themselves - and each other - without having to rely on Captain Omega's guys.'
'Captain Omega's dead.'
'Oh, whatever, still his idea,' said Raymond. 'They never stay dead anyway. Not since that business in the 90s. Anyway, I'll have the suit with you ASAP.'
'Seriously?'
'Yeah, seriously, what are you paying me for?'
The stranger nodded and left the room. Raymond looked over the specifications on the sheet of paper, logged into the design software on his computer and got to work as he waited for his next client.

Alex knocked on the door. There was a disgruntled sigh from the other side, followed by the shuffling of feet and the door opened.
'It was open, you know,' said Raymond.
'Raymond Rome?'
'Yeah, come in,' he said, leading the way into the room, Alex following. 'You got the specifications with you? And the cash?'
Alex passed him a few banknotes - more than he should have taken out of his account - and a piece of paper. Raymond pocketed the cash and unfolded the paper, looked over the specs. 'Can do that with a Kevlar thread weave... extra shielding on the head and chest, no problem... voice changer, nice touch... Shouldn't be a problem,' he said, dropping the sheet of paper next to his computer. 'Aaand you got your room on there, awesome. Have it with you soon.'
'Appreciate it,' said Alex.
'You got a name?' said Raymond.
'Confidentiality. You said no names,' said Alex.
'Nah! No, not like, your name. I mean to go with the suit. Like, a superhero name.'
Alex smirked.
'Yeah. Yeah, I got a name.'
With that, he left the room and headed back out of the science block.
'Fucking drama queens, the lot of them,' said Raymond.

Aurora gently knocked on the door. She fiddled with her handbag as she waited for a response. It was like she was guarding it; worried about the contents getting stolen.
“It’s open!” A voice called back, as though he was fed up of people knocking and waiting.
With a deep breath, Aurora pushed the door open and entered the room. “Hey, Raymond?” She smiled sheepishly at him as she entered the room and shut the door behind her.
Raymond's posture changed ever so slightly as Aurora came closer. “Got what I need?” he asked.
“Yeah.” She dug around in her bag and pulled out a brown envelope. “This isn’t some elaborate plan to get my measurements is it?” Aurora asked in a jokey tone.
“No, it’s just one of the perks.” He took the brown envelope and opened it up “Whoa, that’s a lot of money!” Raymond adjusted his glasses.
“It’s because I want two costumes.” Aurora beamed.
In the brown envelope was a piece of paper with specifications. “Why? In case one gets dirty?” he read the note and looked at Aurora like she was an idiot. “You want two costumes for two colours? You know I can just make you one costume that changes colour, right?”
“You can do that?!” She was genuinely impressed. “Will it cost less?”
“Well you’ve already given me the money now, but yes I can do it. Easily. I will have it with you as soon as possible.”
“Thank you, Raymond!”
“So what is your hero name?”
“Oh. It’s Omen.”
Raymond looked a little unimpressed. “Why Omen?”
“Because if someone sees me in costume, it means they are going to either live when they should have died, or die when they should have lived.” She smiled and waved goodbye to him. “I look forward to seeing your work!”
Once Aurora left, Raymond looked back down into the envelope. “I was joking about keeping all this money.”

Raymond immediately straightened up in his chair when someone burst through the door. He saw the pink-haired woman and let out a long breath he had held. “I know it’s open, but seriously, don’t just dramatically barge in here like that.” He cleaned his glasses as he let his heart calm down.
“Sorry, sorry, I rushed straight here after my meeting with my diss supervisor, I just… look I wasn’t planning on hiding my hair colour. I didn’t really want to hide who I was I just-“
Raymond slipped his glasses back up his nose and held a hand up to stop her speech. “Mmhm, I get it. The hair is a big give away to who you are and it’s not long before people make connections. I was about to post this to you, but since you’re here, you can just take it with you.” He pushed a hair band across the desk.
Aurora raised an eyebrow and picked it up. It was heavier than she expected. “A headband?”
“It keeps your fringe out of your eyes.” He stated with a deadpan face. “It also masks your hair colour.”
Aurora studied the device before she put it on her head. Raymond instructed her to push the button behind her left ear, which she did. She pulled a strand of hair into her view. It was blonde. Raymond told her to press the button behind her right ear. As she did, her hair turned black. She looked at Raymond who was sat slouched in his chair with his arms folded across his chest; a smug smile tugged at his lips. “It has more colours programmed into it as well. On the inside of the band is another button. If you press that at the same time as the button on your left boot, the headband will sync with your costume, changing colour with the rest of it once activated. Neat, huh? To turn off the headband, or to make it work separately from the rest of the costume, press both buttons on the side at the same time.”
Aurora did that and her hair was pink once more. The chameleon device sat in her hair like a normal accessory. “Wow, I was amazed when my costume did this, but I’ll never need to worry about my roots again.” She laughed but Raymond didn’t look impressed. “How much do I owe you for it?”
“You already paid me for two costumes. You don’t owe me anything. Here, I don’t know if your ability works through gloves or whatever, but you might want to wear them. Fingerprints.” He wiggled his fingers and threw the gloves to the edge of the desk. “Also, I was toying around with the idea of your costume after I saw the news. An angel?” Raymond smirked as an artistic sparkle came to his eyes. “I can work with that.”
“No wings.”
“No promises.”
Aurora smiled and took the new accessories. “Thanks Raymond.”
“Oh, right; as for any blood you get on your costume, the best way to wash it –“
“I’m a woman; you don’t need to tell me how to get blood out of clothes.” Aurora grinned.
“Gross.”
Aurora was halfway out of the doorway. “Grow up.” She smiled at him and closed the door as she left.

(OOC: In the future Herbert will join Olympus but right now it's just not the right moment. I have a few things planned that will lead him down that road. So while he's still working on his powers and hanging around with Nathan, I guess he'd a vigilante?
So, current allegiance: Nathan and not being part of the system.)
Herbert is currently a vigilante but without a costume of a name.

(OOC for the sake of putting her in a category, Chris would have to be listed as a vigilante given she has not joined Olympus and certainly hasn't joined the Redeemer. Though her actual alliegence is simply to herself and doing what she believes to be right. Obviously she has no superhero name or costume. It will be after Herbert's inevitable confrontation with Olem that she will decide on the path she wishes to walk.)

Chris entered Raymonds secret little lair, collar up and hat tilted forward to cover her face. Raymond was in the middle of shoving a Rustlers burger in his gob when he swiveled round in his chair and look at the shady figure in front of him.
"Oh gug we 'av unuver un," he moaned with his mouth still full.
He swallowed and turned back round, placing the burger back on his rather messy desk. Chris glanced over to it and wondered how earth he could eat off such a thing. It was disgusting! Plus how did he keep track of an bits and pieces when they were flung around the room? There was no organisation. Raymond had now switched his attention back to Chris.
"So? Hurry up I ain't got all day Mysterio," he said snarkly. Chris just glared at him from under the rim of her hat. "I here you're the guy to talk to about super suits?" she replied in a gruff manner. "Aye that I am," he grinned smugly, "I just need a description of what you want, your measurements and of course, payment." "Here you go," Chris said as she handed over a large package, pre-prepared with what he had asked for.
Raymond opened up the envelope and inspected the contents, the money first naturally. He nodded his head in satisfaction at the amount before going on to read the specifications. A dark navy blue jumpsuit underneath to provide insulation and warmth but also comfort and flexibility. Over the top of that would go lightweight hardened kevlar plates over titanium dib tri-weave fibres to keep the flexibility and to maintain agility. The plates would go over the torso, shoulders, biceps, forearms and back of the hands as well as the crotch area, thighs and shins. The gaps however would make her more susceptible to knives and bullets than full armour plating but her powers would make up for that. The specifications also noted that the suit come with a mask made from the same plates as the body pieces and that it should have a voice changer in it as well as a sort of gas mask to help protect against any aerosol attacks. The masks visor would also be made out of reflective glass. One final note was that the suit should hide her curves and mask her sex so that whoever she faced would not know if she was a man or woman. A little trick she picked up from Reaper's form.
"Alrighty then...." Raymond pondered as he look over the design, "yeh it's fully possible though hiding your digits is gonna be a challenge," he smirked, Chris just continued to glare, "I'm not working on anyone else's stuff at the moment so I should be able to have this stuff to you soon. I see you've put your room number on here so that's good, not many think to do that," he explained, "anything else?" "There is one more thing," Chris began, "have you kitted out a girl with bright pink hair within the past week?" "I wouldn't be at liberty to disclose such information if I had," Raymond deadpanned. "Fair enough," Chris said as she turned around and went to leave. "So do you have a name as well or was I right in calling you Mysterio?" he teased her. "Dunno. Haven't thought about a name," Chris said back over her shoulder as she shut the door and headed off.
