In the woods, by the lake, there is a circle of dead trees that are still standing. On one of them the Omega symbol has been carved, with a line struck through it. On another, the inscription "Olympus is a lie". This is the domain of the Redeemer. Those who wish to join his ranks, to become an enemy of Olympus, fight against the world's heroes and secure superhuman supremacy over humanity, come here and demand an audience with the Redeemer. It is believed there is more to his power-set than is realised and, as such, the Redeemer cannot be easily fooled. He will only appear for those who genuinely wish to join him and he slows time as he does so - for anyone else coming here, catching sight of the Redeemer or confronting him in battle would be impossible, as his appearance lasts a mere fraction of a second from the point of view of anyone other than the Redeemer and those he chooses to talk to.
The Redeemer will bestow a costume on any follower who comes to him so that they may join the fight against superheroes and humanity.

'REDEEMER!' The cry came from a dark-clothed girl in the middle of the circle of blackened trees.
In the next second, the wraithlike, armoured figure had appeared, eyes glowing purple. As he did, a bird that had shot through the air overhead suddenly came to a near halt, frozen in place above them, its wings ever-so-slightly edging their way downwards.
'Sara Craig,' he growled. 'I have been watching you for some time. You would stand with me? Oppose Olympus? Bring the humans who oppress us to their knees?'
'Yes,' said Sara. 'The power I have... I don't want to live beneath them anymore.'
'Show me.'
Flame engulfed Sara's hands. She fired it at the ground and then spat a stream of flame from her mouth.
The Redeemer stepped towards her. 'Good,' he said. 'You will be a powerful ally.' He clamped a hand suddenly to her forehead and streams of purple light engulfed her body. She let out a scream nobody else would ever hear and fell to her knees. When the light faded, a metallic red and black costume had formed around her.
'Arise,' said the Redeemer. 'Arise, Inferno!'

Olem made his way through the trees, until he reached a clearing surrounded by the corpses of trees. He looked around, anticipating The Redeemer appearing out of thin air, as he usually does. He waited a few minutes and nothing happened. "REDEEMER" he yelled, growing slightly impatient from the wait, and not knowing what else to do.

(OOC: Sorry for the delay! I'm about to sleep but let's make it official)
Time stopped as the Redeemer pulsed into existence. His eyes glowed purple and his cape caught in the wind as darkness descended.
'Welcome, my most trusted my lieutenant.' He placed a hand on Olem's forehead and purple light exploded from the spot, covering Olem. It shone through the trees, scouring their bark and left Olem kneeling, in a new clothing. (OOC: for you to describe)
'Arise, Plague Doctor. Arise.' He lifted Olem to his feet and clasped him on the shoulder. 'Welcome to the new world.'
(OOC: Signing off for tonight! Catch up with it later!)

'Plague Doctor eh?' Olem thought to himself as he began to rise 'how apt'.
He took a minute to take in his new clothing. He appeared to be wearing an alteration of a medieval doctors plague suit, with a few minor alterations. Underneath his coat, a pair of guns were holstered to his chest, with numerous pouches lining his belt. A single revolver was hanging from a different holster near his back, and the beak of his helmet appeared to have a gas-mask incorporated into it. The lenses of the mask were green tinted with a mirror effect, to stop people from seeing his eyes, and a hood was drawn up over his head, completely concealing him. His gloves had been replaced by thicker leather ones, but his shoes were still heavy duty boots. He smiled under his mask, but no-one else could see it.
His old clothing was in a neat pile by one of the trees, and he headed over to change the things between his coat pockets. Whilst he was doing this task, he noticed his phone had a message from Aurora.
'From: Aurora Subject: Watch my back?
Can I ask a big favour, please? If I don't text you by [XX time], it means I'm in trouble at the Woods. I would really appreciate it that if you don't hear from me to check up on me, please? I'm going to avenge Jessica.
Rora x'
He checked the time on his phone, compared to the time she sent it and the time that she mentioned in the text. She hadn't responded at the appropriate time. He made a quick excuse to The Redeemer (OOC: He might've disappeared, but just in case) and turned away, his coat billowing as he turned, and headed out of the deep part of the woods, towards where Aurora said she'd be.

(OOC I have Redeemer's permission to control him)
The Redeemer returned to his summoning circle. The ground was chard and the trees twisted and burnt. He pulsed and surrounded himself in a bubble, suspended in time. His hands twitch as he stretched them outwards, calling upon the energies of the universe.
A black silhouette of a person began to form in front of him before the figure began to take a more defined shape. A short but muscular figure now took form. They stepped forward: "Where am I?" a ghostly voice spoke.
"Do not be alarmed," the Redeemer answered. "Who are you?" "I am The Redeemer." "How did I get here?" "I summoned you." "Then I will serve your will, Master," the figure bowed its head.
The Redeemer stretched out his hand and an explosion of purple light covered the figure and clothed it in a black mask and a purple and black combat suit.
"Arise, my Reaper!"
With another pulse, the two teleported away.

(OOC: With Margarita's permission of course.)
Margarita begged the Redeemer to save Herbert. As a record of the event:
'Swear your loyalty, then,' the Redeemer said. 'Now. And I'll save Herbert Flynn.' He reached out his palm to her head.
Margarita agreed, and stepped forward.
'Good,' the Redeemer whispered.
He put his palm to Margarita's head and purple light engulfed her, forcing her to her knees. It lit up the forest, whipping back the Redeemer's cloak.
'Rise, Persephone' he uttered. But he didn't wait for her to respond. The Redeemer scanned the skies, then pulsed away.

Lois smiled. "From what I have gathered from my own tests and experiments, I have the ability to force the brains of other people into a state of sleep following extensive contact with them. It may be slow at the moment but I belive with the right application could be deadly." Lois brushed back her hair. "I, Lois Keegan, swear loyalty to you and your cause providing that you help me to prove that Super genetics are more heightened than normal people, placing them higher on the evolutionary ladder. I'll fight for what I believe. I would be a bad scientist if I were to give up now."

The Redeemer nodded, immensely pleased. 'I will promise you that you will be able to carry out your work for the good of all of us. And accept your allegiance.'
He put a hand to her forehead and purple light exploded outwards, covering them. The wind picked up and Lois was forced to her knees as a costume surrounded her entirely.
'Rise, Lullaby.'

(OOC: With White's permission.)
The Redeemer appeared by his tree and dropped Thomas' body by his side. Then he reversed time so Thomas' wounds healed and he was restored to health. The Redeemer placed a hand to his forehead and purple light exploded outwards, and armour covered Thomas.
'Rise, Parasite. Thomas White is dead. But you will be my enforcer and ally. Spread the word of my power, and yours.'

Thomas rose, now dressed in a black coat with a good and a mask underneath.
"Clothes are too much...," he muttered. He'd use this for hunting only. Luckily his hands were bare so he could still take powers. He closed his hand into a fist.
"Thomas White was only a face anyway." He looked at the Redeemer. "You said you'd help me find new powers."

The Redeemer nodded. 'I will, in time. But first, go to Olympus. Watch the heroes. They send out some on missions, alone. Pretend to be a helpless citizen, and strike.'

Parasite nodded. "A fine idea, Redeemer," he bowed his head and walked off. He would have to be better; put on a kind, normal face. Be a true hunter and strike when the time comes
