CHOOSING SIDES It's time to decide where your loyalties lie...Superhumans have emerged on campus. There was only so long this could go on before Olympus and their opponents responded. Now it's time to decide whether or not you want to join Olympus in fighting the good fight, act as a vigilante to get justice outside the law, or become a villain and fight against all who would oppose you. Head over to the Event Threads and the Choosing Sides event now to begin your superhuman double life. This event can be completed at any time and revisited should you wish to change sides. Each thread in the Choosing Sides event also features an admin 'example post' for how to write your character's moment of choice. Please feel free to control the Olympus panel, Raymond or the Redeemer in the Choosing Sides threads. If you're having trouble deciding which path to take, some points to consider: - Olympus heroes are expected to respond to Olympus orders and follow their code of conduct (no killing, no brutal/unnecessary violence) but also receive the most support in developing their powers and their careers - there is no expectation for you to be a big shot from day one, but they will help you get there in the long run. Olympus heroes also get all the cool gadgets. They tend to be law-abiding, traditionally heroic characters who would never kill and who always put others first. Their focus is on saving others as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible. Justice and saving lives come first for these guys. NB: OLYMPUS HEROES ARE THE ONLY LEGITIMATE, LEGALLY-OPERATING SUPERHEROES. Any public use of powers by non-Olympus members is illegal and an arrestable offence. Vigilantes and villains are both officially criminals in the eyes of Olympus and the law. - Vigilantes have no common code and, as such, some are more violent than others, a few (like Ruin) even straying into villainous territory at times. All vigilantes, however, tend to see the darker side of the world and are more inclined to use violent measures to achieve their ends. They also have no support to fall back on - becoming a vigilante means becoming a lone wolf, unless (and until) the day comes when you can form alliances with other vigilantes, though even then it is unlikely you'll have the readily available support offered by Olympus to their members (and none of the high-tech gadgetry Olympus uses). Vigilantes tend to be out primarily to punish and take down the villains of the world, particularly those who have evaded the law. They are aware of the failings in the system and view themselves as the dark defenders and last hope of a world that is otherwise without protection. They're an angry bunch. - Supervillains are, typically, followers of the Redeemer of Men, a mysterious and almighty enemy of Olympus. Even those who choose not to directly affiliate themselves with him can turn to him for their costumes, created by his nano-tech, as the Redeemer is willing to help anyone who will be a thorn in the side of Olympus. Villains therefore have the option of being part of a wider brethren through the Redeemer and have access to unearthly, high-tech suits. They do not, however, have Olympus's vast array of gadgetry or support. They tend to believe that superhumans are superior to the rest of humanity and that Olympus is a failure of an organisation. Their aims are to take down Olympus and to put the regular humans in their place, through whatever means necessary, however bloody they may be.

Post by The Redeemer of Men on Feb 26, 2017 12:31:01 GMT
(OOC: Admin, I am sorry for putting this in and basically taking over this but I'm being asked constantly for an event and Admin is unresponsive currently.)
Are you ready supervillains and vigilantes?
The Redeemer of Men is stepping up his plans to destroy Olympus. He has a long term plan in mind, but this is for him to know, and others to make happen...
But now he's calling on all his budding super villains to help him capture several heroes of Olympus, but for what end, is uncertain. One thing is certain; it's time to send a message.
But the vigilantes have have gotten wind of his plan, and they aim to stop it. By any means necessary.
The group of Olympians who are to be targeted are meeting at Trafalgar Square to promote a new Olympus Initative: Working With the Supermen. To the Redeemer, it's a PR stunt, and he intends to stop it by testing the mettle of his new allies.
So... Will the Supervillains manage to snatch the heroes, or can the vigilantes stop them. The Supervillains will have some backup from NPC super villains due to the number balance of vigilantes.
So stay tuned because within the next hour the heroes will be identified and a new post will erupt at Trafagar Square.
(OOC: Let's keep this forum alive!)

THE PARTY
Captain Admin has gone basically, so here it is! For whoever is still left...
If everyone approves, we'll be heading for a time skip, up for debate! Probably a month, or maybe up to New Years. And in the Shard, the Olympus Annual Party will take place! Everyone is invited, so start to get everything you need and when it's all agreed we head off into the future!
This party is place for fun and social relations; it'll kick off the next stage of Heroes on Campus, with more advanced heroes and a building of tension which will culminate in a planned finale.
So everyone get ready and with agreement over a time skip, the party will start off!

Yeh like I said previously, I'll just post some random scenes of what Chris is doing/does over the period of time before the party takes place. Don't really need to worry about her bumping into any of the others as she's actively avoiding them until the party anyway.
